Government has dedicated $50 million for the development of parks, playgrounds, and greenspace in the neighborhood. Upcoming parks include The Tracks Park, a 1.7 acre site adjacent to the railroad tracks with overlooks for observing trains, and L Street Plaza, a proposed gathering area for festivals, exhibits, and outdoor dining to be set up as a pedestrian street.
